Keystone in the Fall - What's a Person to do?

October 19, 2009 02:07 by daina

The months of October and November ae some of the most beautiful times in the Colorado mountains. The Keystone Resort area and River Run Village have some of the most breath-taking views of snow capped mountains, golden aspen trees and the bright blue Colorado sky. However, what is a person suppose to do with all of that? There's no skiing, the shops close early - some aren't even open yet. The Keystone Restaurants are usually open but the atmosphere can be pretty lonely at times. Where are all the people? What is there to do in Keystone, Colorado during these two months of great weather? If you have some suggestions, we'd love to hear them and pass them onto our bloggers. So if you have a favorite past time during the months of October and November up in Keystone that you want to share, please share! We love the Keystone Ski Resort and need some new things to do! Come on! You can do it! Write us a blog  - share the love! Help us enjoy every month in Keystone, Colorado!

In September and October, I like to take advantage of the miles and miles of paved bike trails througout Summit County. Try starting in Keystone and riding the trail to Copper Mountain! Beautiful! If you are in good shape, you can attempt the trail all the way to the Vail Pass. This is tough! You can also take a side trip to Breckenridge once you arrive into Frisco. Give it a try soon, because time is running out before the snow starts to fly!
